Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a sneak peek at the inside of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opens on 28 June at Magic Kingdom in Florida.
The on-ride footage of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure can be seen in the latest episode of Walt Disney Imagineering’s YouTube series, We Call It Imagineering.
Called ‘Soundscapes’, the musical episode (available to watch below) also teases some new music for the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, which opens this summer at Walt Disney World.
Later in the episode, award-winning musician PJ Morton takes a ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and hears his new song ‘Special Spice’, featured in the attraction’s finale.
The episode goes on to reveal the ride‘s thrilling 50-foot drop before the finale at Tiana’s mansion where Louis conducts a jazz band of musical critters playing PJ’s new song.
“Seeing my song on the ride for the very first time was mind blowing to me,” he said.
“It’s surreal to be in this world after a long time writing this song and finally seeing it in action, it’s a dream come true.”
In the episode, PJ says: “That finale room is just amazing – it puts you right into it, the music is playing, the band is playing… it’s a party.

“Seeing that, seeing it done, seeing the animatronics, which are top-notch. And, of course, the icing on the cake for me is my song is playing.”
Earlier this year, Disney unveiled a new Tiana animatronic for the attraction. She will be joined by dozens of new animatronic figures created by Imagineers.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at Disneyland in California later this year. Disneyland is also set to open two new shops inspired by The Princess and the Frog in Critter Country.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a replacement for Splash Mountain.
