Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), a world-leading roller coaster manufacturer, is highlighting the versatility of its Wild Moose Family Coaster. Inspired by the beloved Wild Mouse coasters, this platform redefines family coasters through RMC’s patented I-Box track technology. Known for its innovative coaster engineering, RMC has tailored this platform to deliver family-friendly thrills with smooth, controlled twists and turns.
Engineered with simplicity and flexibility in mind, the Wild Moose platform is highly customisable with a range of features that elevate its versatility across parks.
A highly versatile ride
The Wild Moose boasts a variety of adaptable elements, offering multiple layout options to suit different park configurations. From compact, custom, or sprawling designs to exciting duelling and shuttle layouts, the ride can be modified to fit diverse spaces. Propulsion options such as chain lifts, booster lifts, and linear synchronous motors (LSM) allow operators to adapt the coaster experience further to park requirements, ensuring seamless integration.
In terms of structure, parks can select from pipe structures, steel latticework, wood, or even terrain-hugging designs that enhance aesthetics and on-ride visuals. RMC’s mechanical ratcheting system complements these options, prioritising comfort while minimising egress barriers. This attention to design extends to its comfortable seating, with height accommodations starting at just 39 inches (1 metre), making it accessible to younger guests without sacrificing RMC’s signature ride intensity.
With the Wild Moose Family Coaster, RMC reaffirms its commitment to innovation, family entertainment, and trademark “fun for the whole family” approach.
Earlier this year, RMC shared how its services can help attractions extend the life of their rides and increase ROI.
