Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has revealed plans for IAAPA Expo 2024, where it will present its complete product portfolio. This will include a new ValoArena developed for the North American FEC industry in conjunction with Creative Works, a renowned manufacturer of location-based entertainment attractions.
Dr Raine Kajastila, CEO of Valo Motion, says: “By partnering with Creative Works and leveraging their industry expertise, we’ve made ValoArena even more appealing for American FECs and their guests. This collaboration allows us to deliver a product that meets the needs of both operators and their audiences, while also ensuring shorter delivery times and smoother installations to serve our customers better.”
The firm will also formally introduce the ValoPark active entertainment park solution to the NA market. This product has been created to enable leisure operators to expand their indoor entertainment businesses into high-traffic areas such as shopping malls.
Energetic family fun
Valo Motion’s products, ValoArena, ValoJump, and ValoClimb, integrate video games with full-body movement to provide immersive, unattended, and fully automated experiences without headsets or controllers. These attractions appeal to a diverse audience by providing energetic, family-friendly entertainment for all ages.
ValoPark, designed with leisure operators in mind, provides a compact, affordable, simple-to-use active entertainment solution for malls. The system is ideal for utilising previously difficult spaces, with a footprint that ranges from 4,500 to 10,500 sqft, and a ceiling height of just 12 ft.
Fully automated attractions allow ValoPark to be operated with only two to four attendants, decreasing operational costs. The low ceiling height also lowers insurance premiums. Furthermore, designated party rooms can generate additional income through group events and birthday bookings.
At its headquarters in Helsinki, Finland, Valo Motion has set up a proof-of-concept site named ValoHalli, which has been operational for 18 months. Additionally, Dubai’s first ValoPark installation is finished and slated to open soon.
IAAPA Expo 2024 is taking place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from 18 to 22 November. The show floor opens on 19 November, and attendees can find Valo Motion at booth #4879. The firm will be showcasing its acclaimed mixed-reality attractions, ValoArena, ValoJump, and ValoClimb, together with three new multiplayer games.
In addition, Valo Motion will hold a press conference to formally introduce ValoPark to the North American market on Wednesday 20 November, from 12.20 pm to 12.45 pm. The firm invites journalists and attendees to join the team and learn about the innovative active entertainment product for shopping malls.
Valo Motion recently unveiled a new mixed-reality game for its renowned ValoJump attraction, Dunk It! This basketball-themed game offers an immersive experience for all ages and turns players into slam dunk superstars.
