Clip ‘n Climb, an international leader in the fun climbing market, has announced the launch of its latest attraction, named ‘Crunched’. This new fun climbing challenge adds ‘bridging’ techniques and soft play components to the Clip ‘n Climb catalogue.

This latest innovation reflects Clip ‘n Climb’s commitment to introducing innovations and exploring new ways to keep visitors coming back for more, strengthening its position at the forefront of the market.

New climbing experience

The Crunched challenge is squeezed between two panels and Clip ‘n Climb visitors need to use new climbing techniques to reach the the top.

These techniques include bridging, which refers to the climber wedging themselves between two walls and pushing against the opposite sides to work their way up. Adding additional techniques to the catalogue caters to all abilities while encouraging visitors to keep returning to learn new skills.

Crunched’s soft and squashy PVC-covered foam grips provide a new tactile experience for Clip ‘n Climb’s product range. This provides a unique feel, unlike any other challenge in the portfolio, while also introducing new climbing techniques. Consequently, this combination of soft play and fun climbing challenge appeals to a wider audience, thrilling and captivating people of all ages and abilities.

By combining three difficulties into a single structure, Crunched offers an optimised use of space. The soft play challenge is located in the centre of the structure, on the two inner opposing walls, with a variety of challenges available on the outside walls. With two or three climbing lines on a single structure, the challenge can accommodate multiple climbers at one time, and so increases capacity.

Crunched has narrow-width panels, and can be located with its back against a wall or on the reverse side of the Vertical Drop Slide. These narrow panels, together with the freestanding construction, enable operators to fit multiple bright and colourful challenges into a limited space. The structure also provides a clear operational line-of-sight, allowing attendants to keep a safe eye on everyone in the arena.

Clip ‘n Climb marked the launch of Eracle Jump in San Fermo della Battaglia, Italy on 21 September. This is the first trampoline park in the Como region and is also the first Fun Spot project that the Clip ‘n Climb UK HQ has managed from beginning to end.
