The newest Peppa Pig Theme Park, due to open in Texas in March 2025, has announced its status as a Certified Autism Center (CAC).
The new park in North Richland Hills will earn the accreditation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) in time for its opening on 1 March.
IBCCES will carry out a park review to develop detailed sensory guides, and will also provide staff-wide autism sensitivity and awareness training, and increased accessibility and support for guests.

“We’re proud this certification allows our attraction to be accessible to many more little ones and their families with specific sensory needs.”
Like Merlin’s existing Peppa Pig theme parks, the upcoming site will include accessible rides, entertainment venues and play areas.
For example, Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride has wheelchair accessible baskets for guests to roll onto the attraction without leaving their chairs.
Accessible rides and attractions
The ground at the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad is specially graded for wheelchair use, and Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour includes sensory details.

Designed to be the ultimate theme park experience for kids, the new Peppa Pig destination features five rides, as well as interactive attractions, themed play areas, shows and F&B outlets, all inspired by locations from the preschool brand.
Peppa Pig theme parks are operated by UK-based Merlin Entertainments, which is investing in other accessibility projects like sensory rooms and descriptive audio tours.
