Lionsgate‘s new John Wick Experience is to open next month at the Area15 immersive art and entertainment district in Las Vegas, and tickets have gone on sale.
The immersive experience is inspired by the John Wick franchise, which has taken in more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office. The films star Keanu Reeves and are directed by Chad Stahelski.
Guests will find themselves in a “dangerous and captivating world… where loyalty is tested, alliances are forged, and danger is just a breath away”, per a press release.
The new attraction is set in the John Wick Las Vegas Continental and combines interactive missions with immersive environments.
Additionally, guests can enjoy a themed bar “where every drink is an artful blend of precision and indulgence” and a gift shop selling products “for those who live boldly”.
Stahelski said last year: “It’s always gratifying to see people embrace your story and characters, whether on the big screen or with a fully immersive experience like this one.”
Jenefer Brown, executive VP and head of global products and experiences at Lionsgate, said: “One of the things I love about the John Wick franchise is the idea that there’s a whole world of alliances and vengeance hiding in plain sight – all converging within the worldwide locations of the Continental.”
New immersive experience at Area15
“This experience draws fans into that world like never before, and Area15 is an ideal place for fans to live out the fantasy, action and danger portrayed in the films,” she added.
The John Wick Experience is a collaboration between Lionsgate, Area15, and Egan Productions – the company behind an escape experience in Vegas inspired by the Blair Witch film franchise, as well as a Saw attraction, and the Pennywise-themed Escape It.
Area15 is expanding with a 20-acre district to the north of its current site. This will house a year-round horror experience from Universal Destinations & Experiences, and a space-themed attraction named Interstellar Arc.
