Area15 in Las Vegas has unveiled some of the tenants for its 20-acre expansion, which is now 60 percent pre-leased.
The first tenant in the expansion, which will double the footprint of Area15’s current campus, is scheduled to open later this year.
The new district includes a mix of cutting-edge experiential entertainment, immersive art exhibits and innovative dining and retail concepts, including:

- Burning Man’s famous Boeing 747: this airplane fuselage was previously reconfigured as an immersive party venue for 2017’s Burning Man festival. At Area15, it has been reimagined as an event and nightlife venue.
- The Escape Game: this US-based escape room company offers 60-minute experiences in a highly immersive, multi-room set where players crack codes, uncover clues and solve puzzles.
- Felix & Paul Studios’ Interstellar Arc: From the creators of the award-winning Space Explorers production, Interstellar Arc is a futuristic space experience set in the 26th century that pushes the boundaries of immersive storytelling and technology.
- iFLY indoor skydiving: the new iFLY location at Area15 will offer iFLY’s signature wind tunnels, state-of-the-art media management systems, and flying progression programmes.
- Museum of Ice Cream: this will be the Museum of Ice Cream‘s global flagship location, and will feature the world’s first ice cream buffet, ice cream-themed hotel suites, a dessert play area, the famous sprinkle pool, a pink party bus, and more.
- Universal Horror Unleashed: from the creators of Halloween Horror Nights, this is Universal’s first-ever permanent horror experience. It will include four haunted houses and four immersive areas offering live entertainment, creepy craft cocktails and food.
Also in the expanded space will be a Dolls Kill flagship store, and Chilango’s Tacos and Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets locations.
“The caliber of tenants joining us illustrates the scope and scale of the transformative vision we’re pioneering in Las Vegas,” said Winston Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers and chief executive officer of Area15.
Area15 expansion partners with “visionary brands”
“These concepts represent just the beginning as we continue to partner with visionary brands to shape an unparalleled destination for exploration and immersive entertainment.”
The Area15 expansion has been made possible by a $161 million construction financing package orchestrated by Fisher Brothers, the real estate developer behind the project.
Since opening in 2020, Area15 has welcomed more than 13 million visitors.
