Universal Orlando has shared a first look at some of the menu items coming to Epic Universe ahead of the new theme park’s opening on 22 May.
Epic Universe, Universal Orlando‘s fourth gate, will boast more than 100 new menu items across 30 dining locations, all designed to immerse guests in various stories found in five themed worlds.
In Celestial Park, a total of 15 F&B outlets include the Atlantic restaurant, the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, the Oak & Star Tavern, Pizza Moon, and Celestiki.
Menu items here include a dessert at Atlantic called Landlubber’s Snickerdoodle Loot and a cocktail called the Plastered Owl at the Oak & Star Tavern.
Butterbeer crêpes at Harry Potter land
Over at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, guests will enjoy dining venues like Café L’air De La Sirène and Le Gobelet Noir.
Highlights on these menus include a Butterbeer crêpe at the former, and the Alchemist’s Platter at Le Gobelet Noir – a spread of smoked sausage, pierogies, pickled eggs, a pretzel, and cheese fondue.
Super Nintendo World‘s four dining locations include Toadstool Cafe and Yoshi’s Snack Island, with dishes at Toadstool Cafe including a Mario burger and a Luigi burger, as well as Bowser’s Fireball Challenge – a towering one-pound meatball topped with mozzarella in a marinara sauce with a Bowser-inspired puff pastry.
Guests at How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will feast like Vikings in dining venues like Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel.
Bowser meatballs at Super Nintendo World
Dishes at Mead Hall range from the Nordic Harvest Salad to the Thawfest Platter, a spread of chicken drumsticks in a wild berry BBQ glaze, grilled salmon, sausage, carrots, and Nordic fries.
And last but not least, Dark Universe, which boasts dining locations such as Das Stakehaus, the Burning Blade Tavern, and De Lacey’s Cottage.
At Das Stakehaus, guests can enjoy fish, chicken or mushrooms on stakes, or a Blood Orange Chicken Sandwich. The Burning Blade Tavern will serve dishes like Hunter’s Garlic Stake, a cheese and garlic pretzel with a garlic sauce.
As above, Epic Universe is opening as Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park on 22 May.
