Connect&GO, a leading global provider of integrated technology and RFID solutions for the attractions industry, held its inaugural Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting on 27 February, bringing together top industry leaders from North America and Europe to discuss key challenges, exchange knowledge, and offer direct insights on the product roadmap for Connect&GO’s Attraction Management System.

With 11 attendees, the CAB’s bilingual meetings (one in English and another in French) fostered a collaborative environment. Participants from diverse backgrounds in attraction management engaged in meaningful discussions, shared best practices, and actively contributed to shaping the next generation of guest experience innovations.

A data-driven initial session

The CAB was created to ensure operators’ feedback directly influences Connect&GO’s technology and development strategy.

Key engagement highlights included three breakout sessions, which offered a platform for discussing complex topics like crowd flow, rain checks, and the strategic application of AI and automation.

47 interactive post-its recorded insights and ideas from the breakout discussions, 27 comments provided direct feedback on future product features, and 20 questions were raised, reflecting the industry’s critical concerns regarding trends and technology.

“The CAB is more than an advisory board—it’s an innovation hub where operators take the lead in shaping the tools they need,” says Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO. “The level of participation in this first meeting proves the industry is ready for true customer-led innovation.

“Our role is to listen, act, and ensure our technology fuels our customers’ success.”

Transforming insights into action

The CAB meeting focused not only on discussion but also on taking action. Members provided direct feedback on crucial areas that will influence Connect&GO’s future innovations:

  • Retail management: improving merchandising efficiency and optimising sales processes for maximum impact revenue.
  • Group management: enhancing the coordination of bookings, payments, and visits to ensure a smooth experience for group organisers and guests.
  • Integration capabilities: identifying new opportunities for third-party system integration to simplify operations.
  • Guest engagement: investigating methods to personalise interactions, boost loyalty, and improve the overall visitor experience.

This input will directly influence Connect&GO’s roadmap, ensuring that upcoming innovations cater to the practical needs of operators.

Going forward, the company will hold ongoing discussions in a shared space to expand on ideas from the initial session. Follow-up meetings will occur to monitor updates on the roadmap and ensure continuous improvement. There will also be exclusive beta testing opportunities for CAB members to provide early feedback.

Connect&GO’s aim with this new venture is to set a new standard for collaboration and innovation, ensuring the future of attractions is built by those who know it best: the operators.

Last year, Connect&GO was named in the prestigious 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 ranking of the quickest-growing technology companies in North America. It was also included in the Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies for 2024.
