Hive, a company specialising in media control systems and software, and Panasonic have launched the ‘Global Teleport’ experience, an interactive attraction that breaks new ground in projection, real-time interactivity and AI-driven personalisation.
The experience was revealed at Panasonic’s stand during ISE 2025, and presented a seamless, high-performance media playback solution designed for visitor attractions, museums, and immersive exhibitions.
Powering dynamic storytelling
The Global Teleport experience featured seven Panasonic 25,000-lumen projectors. Each was powered by Hive’s Beeblade Pluto media players, which scan be placed directly into the projectors’ SDM slots. This removes the need for external media servers, resulting in a streamlined, cost-effective and sustainable solution for large-scale AV installations.
A curved projection screen dynamically displayed images in real-time, and ISE 2025 attendees were invited to upload photos from their phones.
Hive’s Beeblade media engine, with low-latency integration with Unreal Engine and Notch, provided high-quality image rendering with AI-powered enhancements. The system used metadata from each uploaded photo to identify its location and expanded it with AI-driven outpainting to develop a fully immersive visual experience.
Hartmut Kulessa, senior marketing manager at Panasonic Connect, says: “Hive’s media playout technology perfectly complements our projectors’ configurable input slot, creating streamlined, cost-efficient and sustainable installations.”
The Global Teleport setup at ISE 2025 showcased technologies that offer engaging, scalable solutions for dynamic storytelling, and present significant opportunities for the visitor attractions industry. By bringing together Hive’s state-of-the-art media playback with Panasonic’s sophisticated projection technology, the installation forges a path for the future of interactive visitor experiences.
In addition to showcasing the Panasonic Interactive Immersive Experience, Hive launched the Beeblade Nexus, its most powerful media engine yet, at ISE 2025. It also revealed version 1.2 of its intuitive software and presented the Nucleus chassis to European audiences.
