The new Efteling Grand Hotel has an opening date of 1 August at the fairytale theme park in the Netherlands, with pre-sale reservations now open.
At a topping out ceremony, Efteling’s new luxury hotel announced the official opening date and revealed that general reservations open from 17 March.
Nicole Scheffers, director of park and resorts at Efteling, said the hotel “is an investment in the future, and in line with our vision, we are focussing on international growth”.

“Over the past few months, the entire team has worked incredibly hard to ensure that from 1 August, our guests can experience the highest level of luxury within the World of Efteling,” Scheffers said.
“Celebrating the milestone of the hotel’s highest point being reached with everyone who has contributed so much to its construction is truly special.”
Designed to feel like a traditional grand hotel, the building has seven floors offering 140 rooms and suites.

As for amenities, the new hotel includes a swimming pool with spa facilities, and two unique restaurants, including Restaurant-Bar Mystique.
The other restaurant, Brasserie 7, will serve dishes using magical ingredients such as dragon’s breath and fairy dust.
Additionally, the hotel houses a café and a souvenir shop.
The Efteling Grand Hotel‘s rooms and suites feature four different colour themes and overlook the Fairytale Forest, Aquanura, the House of the Five Senses or the Pardoes Promenade.

At Efteling, the new hotel joins existing accommodation like the Efteling Wonder Hotel and two holiday villages – Efteling Bosrijk and Efteling Loonsche Land.
The Efteling Wonder Hotel, formerly the Efteling Hotel, is currently closed for major renovation works.
“The Efteling Wonder Hotel stands out from our other overnight stay locations through strong theming,” said Scheffers.
“The hotel, with its boundless wonder, is our very own floating castle of fairytales.”
