Semnox Solutions, a technology provider for the entertainment and amusement industry, has brought its management system to Cosmic Air Park in Houston, Texas. The adventure park, which offers an array of attractions, arcade games, playtime sessions, and food and beverage services, was looking for a simplified system that could effectively handle every part of its operations.
“In our older generation parks, we were running multiple systems, which added complexity and costs,” says Shawn Meghani, owner of Cosmic Air Park.
“For our new build, we needed a turnkey solution—one system that could run it all. After researching various providers, we chose Semnox because they not only checked every box but also offered the technological scalability to grow alongside our company.”
Improving operations and the guest experience
Cosmic Air Park uses Semnox’s Parafait portfolio of technologies to improve visitor experiences and expedite operations. This comprises point-of-sale (POS) systems for selling food, beverages, and entertainment, self-service Klassic Kiosks for purchasing game entitlements and activities, and Lumin RFID Tap-To-Play scanners for arcade gaming.
A customised online party booking platform that matches the park’s website, online attraction booking for visitor convenience, and liability waiver management both in-store and online are additional advantages for the park.
Speaking about the deployment process, Meghani adds:
“There is a learning curve, but they are with you every step of the way. Implementing a new system takes time and patience, and while I may have felt frustrated at times, they never did. They guided me throughout the entire process.”
The switch to Semnox’s Parafait platform has improved the overall visitor experience in addition to streamlining internal procedures. One notable aspect is the online platform for booking events, which makes reservations easy and convenient.
“The booking site was designed to match our company website, ensuring a consistent customer experience from start to finish.”
Following the successful deployment at Cosmic Air Park in Houston, Meghani says the company will use the Parafait system across all future locations, standardising operations with a comprehensive, integrated solution. “We have decided to move over to Semnox for all new builds and are looking forward to building a partnership for years to come.”
