nWave Pictures, a multinational producer and distributor of immersive 3D/4D content, has announced the release of Drone Dash, its latest 3D/4D ride.
This is an engaging 4D/3D ride simulation film produced by nWave’s ongoing collaborator, Red Star Studio. Lasting under five minutes, the ride follows drones as they participate in an exciting race and showcases the spectacular visuals, immersive 3D, and thrill-filled experiences that nWave is recognised for.
A sky-high race
Matthieu Gondinet, managing director at nWave, says: “nWave is very happy to be collaborating again with our long-term partner, Red Star, on the launch of a thrilling new 4D ride!”
nWave has partnered with Red Star for many years, resulting in much-loved titles such as Dino Safari, Calamity Mine Ride, Space Chase and Wild West Mine Ride. “We are always fully confident in Red Star’s ability to produce quality content tailor-made for family rides, with exciting narratives and breathtaking universes.”
Ben Smith, creative director at Red Star, adds: “Red Star are delighted to be returning to our roots with new attractions content, and proud to be again partnering with nWave to co-produce and distribute our content.”
Last year, nWave revealed two new teasers at IAAPA Expo 2024, for Drone Dash and for a sequel to its 10th animated feature film, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness, which will be released in theatres in 2025.
The company’s portfolio also includes recent additions such as the Theater of Dreams 4D/3D attraction, which tells the story of the power of friendship and the never-ending world of imagination, and Meg and the Lost Scepter, a 4D/3D attraction that shares the story of the beloved characters from Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness through the lens of Meg, the fearless skunk.
These have proved popular with theme parks, amusement parks, family science centres, and more.
