tonwelt, a leading full-service provider of interactive visitor guiding systems, has announced that it has deployed its all-in-one supraGuide SPHERIC audio guide at the new exhibition, The Viking Sorceress at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen.
The immersive exhibition opened on 27 June and explores the Vikings’ ideas about chaos and fate, present and future, through the story of the powerful sorceress, Vølven, and her prophecy for the end of the world.

With the success of the DIVA exhibition at the V&A, the cutting-edge 360-degree supraGuide SPHERIC sound system has established a reputation in the interactive visitor tour industry.
This system is unique in operation and experience. The headset-only audio guide includes impressive 3D sound and is completely wireless, with audio tracks that are automatically triggered. When a visitor enters a defined trigger zone in front of an exhibit, display case, or diorama, audio content automatically begins to play on the headphones.
The exceptional sound quality elevates visitor experiences. The supraGuide SPHERIC can localise audio data in the direction of the virtual sound source in the room due to its unique hardware and software combination. 3D audio allows for intricate and immersive sound stagings, opening up new possibilities for exhibitions and auditory narrative in scenography.

tonwelt recently celebrated the opening of The Museum Reinhard Ernst (MRE) in Germany, which began welcoming visitors on 23 June. MRE is a world-class facility specialising in abstract art. Its collection includes masterpieces from 1945 to the present day, many of which are being shown publicly for the first time. The museum collaborated with tonwelt to develop a media guide concept which was completely tailored to the visit and the experience of abstract art.
