The world’s first Planet Playskool entertainment centre is now open in Paramus, New Jersey, offering a mix of immersive play areas and interactive activity zones.
Planet Playskool is the result of a partnership between toy and game company Hasbro and Kingsmen Xperience, a creator of world-class location-based entertainment (LBE) experiences. The experience is operated by Brite Management LLC.
The 20,000-square-foot attraction opened on 13 June at Westfield Garden State Plaza. Play areas in the venue are inspired by Hasbro brands including Play-Doh, Transformers, Spirograph and PJ Masks.

“Planet Playskool offers our visitors the opportunity to create intergenerational memories while immersing themselves in the magic of iconic Hasbro toys, many of them the same toys parents will recall from their childhood,” said Wesley Rebisz, senior general manager of Westfield Garden State Plaza.
“We are honored that our center was selected as the first in the nation to debut the Planet Playskool family entertainment experience.
“Bringing immersive and imaginative play to a new and younger demographic expands the mall’s appeal, something that remains a priority as we continue to grow with our community.”
Hasbro toys inspiring LBE experiences
Hasbro has been expanding its LBE offering in recent years. The company is behind Peppa Pig theme parks in Florida and Germany, Monopoly Lifesized attractions, and Nerf experiences.
The Gameroom Powered by Hasbro, a new entertainment centre with arcade games and more, opened at New Jersey’s American Dream last month.
Kingsmen Xperience was formed in 2017 as the LBE subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives in the US.
