Emaar Properties has launched its latest development, an AED 55 billion ($15bn) wellness project in Dubai called Heights Country Club & Wellness.
The Heights Country Club & Wellness is a residential community with a wellness centre at its heart offering advanced facilities for health and wellbeing.
Via a press release, the Heights Country Club & Wellness aligns with Dubai’s vision to promote wellbeing across the emirate.
The centrepiece of the 81 million-square-foot community is a wellness centre surrounded by greenways, tranquil water bodies, picturesque ponds, a network of cycling and jogging tracks, and expansive parks.
These are all integrated into the 1.3 million square metres of open space in the community.
Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, said the Heights Country Club & Wellness is “our response to Dubai’s progressive vision of promoting wellbeing”.
“By combining lush landscapes, advanced wellness facilities, and dynamic community spaces, we are creating an environment that goes beyond the typical aspects of luxury living by providing a holistic lifestyle that benefits residents’ physical and mental health.”
He added: “The Heights Country Club & Wellness embodies Emaar’s approach to shaping future lifestyles, inviting everyone to live a life centred on wellness and community.”
Wellness tourism and trends
Emaar Properties has delivered more than 109,000 residential units in Dubai and other markets since 2002. Now, 38 percent of its revenue comes from its retail and hospitality subsidiaries.
Earlier this year at greenloop, Lindsay Madden-Nadeau, senior director of wellness strategy at Red Sea Global, revealed more about the potential use of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in the wellbeing business.
