Moco Museum has soft opened at London‘s Marble Arch with works by Jeff Koons, Tracey Emin, Yayoi Kusama and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Officially launching on 10 September, the new attraction for modern and contemporary art is the third Moco Museum following sites in Amsterdam and Barcelona.
The first museum in Amsterdam was co-founded by Dutch former gallerists Kim Logchies-Prins and Lionel Logchies in 2016. The Barcelona museum opened in 2020.
According to the Moco Museum website, its museums have already welcomed more than five million visitors from more than 120 nations.

Via the Art Newspaper, the Moco team hopes to attract at least 300,000 guests to the London space in its first full year of opening. “I want this to be an art hub for London,” Logchies-Prins told the publication.
The 25,000-square-foot venue covers three floors and also includes works by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy, and Kaws, as well as new pieces by rising contemporary artists.
“As a female artist in the Moco Museum collection, I take pride in contributing to a celebration that transcends diversity— it’s a profound recognition of our unique perspectives and untold stories,” said multidisciplinary artist Pilar Zeta.
“Elevating female voices enriches our human experience, and the energy of female art symbolises the power held by women as creators. In my opinion, this creative force is the moving essence of the universe.”

At Moca Museum London, guests can see digital artworks, some NFTs, immersive environments, and even works by English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams.
Moco Museum London is opening the ‘Healing Frequency’ exhibition by Marina Abramović on 11 September. This will run through 11 March 2025.
In more news, the Museum of London has become the London Museum – and it has a new logo featuring a white clay pigeon and a golden poo splat.
