Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has announced a series of new sales team appointments in the Americas and Europe.
“We proudly reveal the Embed Mavericks who will further champion sales and customer success to continue to provide the best of FEC tech solutions and reliability across our global operations,” says Renee Welsh, CEO at Embed. “We look forward to how this change will advance Embed further and enable, empower, and ease our customers’ business.”
Championing sales and customer success
Erika Nonis is the new EMEA sales account manager. She joined Embed in 2022 as a sales and account manager and has since managed clients in Canada and the northeastern US with success. Nonis, who comes from a long line of family entertainment legacy and has over five years of expertise in operations and event management at Cineplex and The Rec Room, will be stationed in Dubai, UAE, to support Embed’s efforts to drive growth in the EMEA region:
“We are excited to have Erika Nonis lead the European market in her new role! Her proven track record and customer-centric approach make her the ideal professional to engage untapped market potential while managing Embed’s distribution partner, Bandai Namco,” says Kash Ahmad, global head of sales.
Meanwhile, new sales account managers for the NASA region, Josh Adkins and Gabriel Wolman, will open new markets and foster business expansion to better progress the company’s services and solutions in the Americas.
Industry veteran Wolman will take on the eastern seaboard as well as Alaska, California, Hawaii, and Nevada after working with Embed for nearly five years. In the past, Wolman’s primary focus has been on account management and cultivating connections with clients and business associates in the Southeast United States.
Adkins has six years of experience in the sector, having worked as an account manager at Redemption Plus. He will use this knowledge to oversee accounts throughout the Midwest, Great Lakes Region, and Canada.
In addition, Julie Lynch will take on the role of strategic account manager. Lynch offers over 20 years of expertise in sales and account management of large Enterprise customers, working with tech and software firms, including Lexmark and Sprint. She joined Embed in 2022 and is focused on new business with customers in the western US. Lynch has been elevated to the position of strategic account manager in order to oversee the interactions with the biggest Embed clients in North America.
“Gabriel, Josh, and Julie provide a strong mix of technical and industry experience for our customers,” says John Keys, regional sales manager (NASA). “Our focus is to help our customers leverage the Embed system to increase profitability and reduce costs, ultimately driving transformational business growth. This is exactly what you get when you combine the exceptional Embed Sales & Strategic Accounts with the Success Squad and other operational teams.”
The Success Squad continues to grow
The Transformation Growth team’s Embed Success Squad expands sales and customer support by analysing payment processing data and optimising Embed cloud-based products like the Mobile Wallet, BOOKINGS, and STATS.
The Success Squad, which is led by Jeremy Dickamore (VP of global payment solutions), Jed Hazlett (success ambassador), and Austen Ward (SaaS squad whisperer), added the following personnel to strengthen the lineup:
Joshua Chappell has been promoted to field force training manager, and Tobie Line, a former Microsoft employee, has taken over as field force trainer for Embed GoTrain. Embed GoTrain is a free staff training program that Embed provides to encourage guest usage and adoption of the mobile wallet, driving a five-fold increase in average reload value.
With a wealth of knowledge, Will Moser has joined Dickamore as the payment gateway guru. He will use his experience to offer free cost-savings analyses on card payment processing for customers, reducing losses due to hidden costs or merchant fees and identifying potential savings that operators may realise by switching payment providers.
“With the latest expert additions to the Success Squad, we are more equipped to layer value to the members of the Embed family of FECs,” says Sara Paz, CMO and transformation growth officer. The Success Squad, a dedicated team of experts and management consultants that help customers maximise the Embed system to drive transformational growth, was introduced at IAAPA Expo Orlando 2023.
Dickamore recently spoke to blooloop as part of a new Ask the Experts series for Embed, addressing five crucial questions, and offering insightful perspectives on the future of FEC payment systems and payment integration.
