Art Processors, the experiential design consultancy, has announced the launch of Event Sync, a groundbreaking SaaS product for the Pladia product suite which delivers seamless AV synchronisation.
Event Sync has been created by Art Processors to achieve perfect harmony between visuals and audio and has been refined through acclaimed projects with the Sydney Opera House, Bob Dylan Center, Pentridge Prison Tours, and AGB Events.
It is now available as an individual event license or an annual subscription. Demos can be arranged by emailing Pladia.
Browser-based experience
Event Sync synchronises high-fidelity audio from visitors’ headphones or personal speakers with graphics on screens, projections, and public displays. Ideal applications include projection mapping, drone light shows, laser shows, fireworks, and outdoor cinema events.
Andi Mastrosavas, CEO at Pladia, says: “We originally designed this solution to channel audio from multiple AV displays directly to headphones, eliminating the chaos of competing noises. What we didn’t expect was how affecting the precision in synchronicity would be for visitors. We love watching our customers get creative in augmenting their artistry with a sound component.”
Pladia’s Progressive Web App (PWA) allows audiences to access the audio experience on their iOS or Android device by scanning a QR code. This opens the browser-based experience, eliminating the need to download an app. Minimising interactions with technology allows visitors to focus on the present moment and their surroundings.
Event Sync’s features include:
- Effortless integration. The solution uses standard professional AV hardware for straightforward installation.
- Detailed analytics. With extensive insights on user engagement and adoption rates, clients can make ongoing improvements and appraise their investment.
- Real-time updates. Live messaging informs visitors of scheduling changes, including weather-related delays.
- Inclusivity and accessibility. Enhances inclusion and accessibility for visitors who are hard of hearing or those who require more personal space by distributing audio using personal devices.
- Unlimited scalability. Dependable performance even in poor or erratic internet conditions. Event Sync has the capacity for any number of visitors, with limitless range and scalability.
- Sponsorship module. Provides a platform for discreet sponsorships that do not disrupt the audience’s experience or enjoyment.
- White-label customisation. The interface is customisable and logo and picture options are available.
Mastrosavas explains: “Our focus is on designing premium products that deliver exceptional value. Our PWA allows our customers to customize the interface with their branding so it feels like their own—we’re proud that our brand is entirely invisible to the end user.
“Pladia’s products are firmly grounded in human-centered design. Event Sync delivers a frictionless user experience for both backend users and audiences and can be fully implemented independently by our customers.”
Art Processors announced the official business launch of Pladia, its advanced experience management system for the cultural sector, earlier this week. The platform perfectly combines physical and digital spaces and is set to transform how visitors tour and interact with attractions.
