Dubai will soon be home to the world’s first candy museum, where guests will enjoy free-flowing candy, a cotton candy bath and a gummy bear pool.
Aptly named the Museum of Candy, the new venue is opening soon. An interactive space, it will contain 15 themed rooms, each dedicated to a different type of candy, like candy canes, gummy bears, lollipops, cotton candy, macarons and ice cream.
“Dubai has always been home to brilliant ideas and tourist attractions backed by technology, science and innovation,” said the Museum of Candy team in a statement.
“We simply wanted to add to the region’s landscape with a pop of colour and a whole lot of sweetness,” they added.
“We want everyone to stop by for some delightful moments, enjoy our slide of sweetness, engage in interactive experiences, and relive their childhood, while having a great time.”
Highlights in the museum include candy stations, a cotton candy bath, and a gummy bear pool, as well as educational and interactive elements, games, photo opportunities, and a cafe serving milkshakes, ice cream and coffee.
Immersive candy experience
“The Museum of Candy is designed to channel your inner child with its bright tones and delightful elements. Each room is carefully curated to provide an unforgettable experience, ensuring that visitors of all ages have a great time,” says a press release.
Another Instagrammable experience, the Museum of Ice Cream, recently returned to Miami with its first-ever permanent location. The company also has venues in New York, Austin, Chicago and Singapore, and is opening another in Boston.
Also new in Dubai is Loco Bear, an indoor entertainment hub and theme park with attractions including arcade games, laser tag arenas and bowling.
