IAAPA announces partnership with Satisfi Labs & new global sustainability director

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has entered into a three-year partnership with Satisfi Labs, a leading AI-powered conversational experience platform. This partnership will bring state-of-the-art solutions directly to IAAPA members and is intended to improve guest engagement, streamline operations, and improve communication within the global attractions industry.

As a result of the new partnership, AI-driven chat experiences, such as the Global EXPO Bots, will be launched specifically for IAAPA members and tailored to meet the unique needs of attractions professionals.

These chat experiences give members real-time, personalised support to improve guest experiences, internal efficiencies, and IAAPA resource access.IAAPA members will also receive specialised AI training based on Satisfi Labs’ conversational AI skills and expertise to help integrate these technologies into their operations. These initiatives, designed for the attractions and entertainment industry, will allow members to use AI to innovate and improve guest services.

Ylva Linder joins IAAPA as sustainability director

IAAPA has also announced the appointment of Ylva Linder as its new global director of sustainability. Linder, who will start her new role in December, brings 25 years of extensive experience in strategic and operational sustainability work.

Linder has an Executive MBA, a Chemical Engineering degree, and environmental management and leadership certifications. She became Liseberg‘s sustainability head in 2017 and led, created, coordinated, and oversaw the company’s sustainability efforts. Her expertise in environmental projects and compliance ensured Liseberg exceeded legal sustainability criteria.

Linder performed stakeholder and materiality assessments, developed management systems, and assisted in developing sustainable initiatives while working at Liseberg. She oversaw social collaborations and dealt with accessibility concerns as well. In addition, Linder oversaw the sustainability ambassador program and served as chair of Liseberg’s Sustainability Steering Committee.  She also helped to position Liseberg as a pioneer in the market for sustainable experiences and certified Liseberg by ISO 20121 Standards.

Linder’s environmental efforts go beyond these roles. She served on IAAPA’s sustainability committee and task force and volunteered with other organisations. In her new position, she will lead IAAPA’s sustainability mission by promoting a holistic approach to ESG. Her leadership will make IAAPA a pioneer in responsible business practices, enabling IAAPA members to leverage her extensive expertise for their ESG initiatives. 

Earlier this month, IAAPA announced details of the Legends Panel which is taking place at the IAAPA Expo on Wednesday 20 November from 4 pm to 5.30 pm in the Learning Hub, sponsored by Miral. For over 20 years, the Legends Panel, moderated and curated by Bob Rogers, CEO and chairman of BRC Imagination Arts, has provided a platform for leading creative figures to share key knowledge.
