Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has revealed that its Mobile Wallet feature is now available at all three of Alley Cats Entertainment’s family entertainment centres (FECs) in Texas, US.
The firm’s Mobile Wallet feature is the only FEC solution that is Apple and Google-certified. This makes the gaming experience easier and more convenient, as visitors can use their smartphone to immediately access their game cards to check their game balance and ticket count.
Fast & efficient experience
Embed’s advanced Mobile Wallet technology enables Alley Cats Entertainment’s visitors to check game card balances and ticket counts immediately from their phones. It is simple to add the virtual game card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, removing the need to carry a physical card that could be misplaced or stolen. In addition, visitors can reload game credits fast and securely within the app, ensuring uninterrupted fun.

As part of its GoTrain service, Embed provided its HypeTrain Day event to heighten anticipation at Alley Cats locations in Arlington, Hurst, and Fort Worth. The HypeTrain Day aims to engage the community, increase foot traffic, and demonstrate the convenience and functionality of Embed’s Mobile Wallet.

After only one HypeTrain Day event at each Alley Cats location, consolidated metrics show that Mobile Wallet has a significant impact on customer engagement and spending behaviour. The FEC received 69 total registrations, with the average Mobile Wallet reload value of $20 compared to only $8.20 through traditional on-premises channels such as kiosks and POS stations.
