Experiential Media Group (E/M Group), an industry leader in creating travelling exhibitions and experiences, and RMS Titanic, Inc. (RMST), the salvor in possession and steward of the Titanic wreck site, is set to open the Barcelona debut of TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition later this month.
The exhibition, which uniquely includes authentic artefacts from the wreck of the Titanic, will launch on 24 April at Espacio Inmersa, a centre offering immersive and interactive creative experiences in the city’s Poblenou district.
Authentic artefacts
With hundreds of meticulously preserved Titanic relics, faithful room recreations, and memorials to those lost, TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition will make its next stop in Barcelona. This follows sold-out shows in France, Belgium, and Sweden, and a total of more than 35 million visitors worldwide.

Produced and presented by E/M Group and RMST, TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition uses real artefacts recovered from the wreck site to offer a moving retelling of the enduring story of the Titanic and all those on board.
Each of the objects reflects a tale of human ingenuity, ambition, and hope, in a poignant tribute to the passengers and crew who travelled on the “Ship of Dreams” over 100 years ago.
Visitors will connect with these authentic stories through personal items that once belonged to those on board, and walk through recreated spaces such as first-class cabins and the iconic Grand Staircase in an experience that seeks to honour the memory of the Titanic.
Tomasina Ray, president and director of collections for RMST, says: “We’re thrilled to bring TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition to Barcelona for the first time. It’s an amazing opportunity to experience Titanic directly from the objects that were there when she sank. Titanic still has so much to teach us about history, the 2,208 human stories, and even the science of expeditions and artifact recovery. This is an ongoing story.”
Espacio Inmersa offers immersive and interactive experiences and seeks to create memorable moments for its audiences by combining technology, art, and creativity.
Recently, E/M Group and RMST opened TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition in Bratislava, Slovakia. This launch follows its successful run in the city in 2015.
