Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming Expo Europe (EAG), the premier event for the international entertainment, attractions & gaming industries, announced the creation of the co-located Social Immersive Entertainment Expo (SIEX) earlier this year.
Organisers have now announced the initial exhibitors, including companies like CONDUCTR and Holovis, who will enhance the social entertainment aspect of the event. In addition, firms such as Hero Zone VR will contribute to the immersive entertainment focus, along with other participants.
SIEX was established to modernise and futureproof the perspective of EAG and offer new trends and technology/services to its international attendees.
In support of international exhibitors, SIEX will host a two-day seminar programme that will serve as both a market refresher and a platform for industry leaders and key developers to explore crucial issues affecting development in this sector. The lineup of prominent speakers for the sessions addressing various facets of the out-of-home entertainment market will be revealed shortly.
More announcements to come
SIEX will be a first of its kind trade event that will draw on the emerging trends in this sector, focusing on three key areas.
This includes immersive entertainment, covering the extended reality (XR) market for location-based entertainment encompassing commercial applications of Virtual, Mixed, and Augmented Reality hardware. This event will showcase the advancements in immersive technology and its diverse applications like never before.
The second focus is competitive play. The burgeoning eSports and video gaming wagering scene presents a fresh opportunity to enhance the entertainment landscape. This area will showcase everything from racing simulations to eSport tournaments, highlighting the industry’s potential to attract a new gaming audience.
Finally, the social entertainment theme will cover the surge in interest and investment in the competitive socialising landscape. It will explore the technology fuelling the food, drink, and entertainment sector and highlight key franchise opportunities to engage with the market
The Social Immersive Entertainment Expo takes place from 14 – 16 January 2025, at ExCeL London, alongside the premier EAG show, as well as a new co-located Casino & Gaming Expo, making the the January fixture as a must-attend for those in the industries covered by these events.
