Our guest speakers for this session are Jenefer Brown, executive vice president and head of Lionsgate Global Products & Experiences, Philipp Edelmann, head of attractions at Netflix Experiences, and Anthony Chong, group chief executive, Kingsmen Creative Ltd.
They will speak about ways to turn a successful intellectual property (IP) into a successful branded experience and how to appeal to those who don’t already know the brand, as well as key trends and innovations in the sector.

Meet the speakers
Jenefer Brown, executive vice president and head of Lionsgate Global Products & Experiences, has positioned Lionsgate as a leading player in branded entertainment. Brown leads numerous rapidly expanding businesses that extend the reach of Liongate’s film and television properties, such as location-based entertainment (LBE) across the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, as well as interactive games and consumer products.
Brown headed the successful launches of Lionsgate’s Entertainment World in Hengqin, China; the Lionsgate Zone of the Motiongate theme park in Dubai, with a major expansion that opened in January 2022; and Saw Escape experiences in Las Vegas and London. These projects expand the portfolio of events and attractions under the Lionsgate brand.
Under Brown’s direction, Lionsgate is also working with award-winning producers to bring some of its most well-known IPs to the Broadway stage, such as the popular television series Nashville and the blockbuster movies La La Land and Wonder.
The interactive games division has received positive reviews and multiple significant awards at E3. Key releases include Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Blair Witch, the best-selling Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, the recently released Evil Dead: The Game, the ground-breaking Call of Duty X SAW crossover, and the Fortnite X John Wick crossover.
Brown was named Executive of the Year by Los Angeles Business Journal in 2021, and in the blooloop theme park influencer power 10 for three consecutive years.
Philipp Edelmann is a global executive in the entertainment and attractions industry, responsible for developing and producing award-winning visitor experiences worldwide.
He has created permanent brand attractions for Coca-Cola, Ford, Heineken, Diageo, and NASA, and collaborated with US and EU governments on pavilions at World Expos in Shanghai, Milan, and Astana. In his role as head of production for Netflix’s Live Experiences group, he leads ambitious new initiatives to establish the company’s presence in the themed entertainment sector worldwide.
Edelmann has received numerous honours, including Cleo Awards for his work at Netflix, multiple TEA Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his contribution to the TV documentary Farrah’s Story.
Anthony Chong is the group chief executive, Kingsmen Creative Ltd. Chong has over four decades of marketing and event management expertise, and oversees the Group’s theme parks, museums, exhibitions, events, and LBE companies.
Kingsmen Exhibits creates innovative immersive experiences for trade exhibits, corporate and sporting events, galleries, museums, and theme parks. In addition, the Group develops and runs LBEs and family entertainment centres (FECs).
The group’s subsidiary Kingsmen Xperience Inc., focuses primarily on licensing IPs for LBE and transforms brands into large-scale, reimagined interactive experiences through iconic attractions. Kingsmen Xperience’s FECs feature touring exhibitions, pop-ups, and permanent installations for a diverse range of venues.
