Burning Man’s famous Boeing 747 has arrived at Area15’s expanded district in Las Vegas to be transformed into an immersive F&B experience.
The airplane fuselage was previously reconfigured as an immersive party venue for 2017’s Burning Man festival. Before that, the aircraft served as a passenger jet in Brazil.
The Boeing 747, which was relocated to Area15 from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will become a unique cocktail and dining experience at Area15’s new district.

Measuring 150 feet in length and 60 feet in width, the repurposed jumbo jet will be able to accommodate more than 1,300 guests for cutting-edge experiences and ticketed events.
“The iconic journey that this aircraft has taken symbolized the monumental expression of the fusion between art, technology and experiential entertainment that defines Area15,” said Winston Fisher, Area15 CEO.
“Once the centerpiece of the world’s most avant-garde festival, this installation will now be permanently integrated into the Area15 ecosystem, offering an entirely new way to experience nightlife and events in Las Vegas.”

The arrival of the Boeing 747 marks a major milestone in the Area15 20-acre expansion, which is already 60 percent pre-leased.
The district will house attractions including Universal Horror Unleashed, the Museum of Ice Cream’s largest flagship location, and Felix & Paul Studios’ Interstellar Arc.
The expansion will double the footprint of Area15’s current campus.
It has been made possible by a $161 million construction financing package arranged by Fisher Brothers, the real estate developer behind the project.

Fisher Brothers acquired the 747 jumbo jet in 2022 with a goal to repurpose it for Area15.
“The acquisition and remodeling of this plane closely follows our mission at Area15 of building an emotional connection for visitors through art, entertainment, and experiences,” Fisher said at the time.
Since opening in 2020, Area15 has welcomed more than 13 million visitors.
