RocketRez to reveal how OTAs can reach specialised markets

RocketRez, the end-to-end cloud ticketing platform for tours and attractions, is set to host a webinar revealing how emerging Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) offer unique opportunities to reach specialised audiences and stand out in a competitive environment.

This session will share ways to navigate this summer’s peak season with innovative approaches from industry experts. Attendees will discover how to grow their market reach and drastically increase revenue.

Topics will include:

The session will be moderated by Daniel Pino, director of business development at RocketRez. Pino has over 10 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry and founded his own OTA in 2017. He now manages RocketRez’s online distribution collaborations with OTAs and channel managers.

Pino will be joined by Melanie White, EVP of operations and connectivity, Virgin Experience Gifts, Erik Roberts, senior sales manager, US/CA, Tiqets, and Jaz Cariola, general manager, Aquarium of the Bay.

White has been working in the experience gift industry for over eight years. She joined Virgin Experience Gifts, formerly Cloud 9 Living, in 2015 and has been instrumental in its expansion. She has held several leadership positions within the organisation, with an emphasis on product development, commercial functions, and team management since the recent acquisition.

Roberts oversees Tiqets’ contracting and negotiating procedures for new suppliers throughout the US and Canada. He has worked in the OTA sector for 3.5 years, giving him a thorough understanding of the industry, and previously served as a Group Sales Manager at Legends Attractions where he developed his sales and customer service abilities.

Cariola has more than 15 years of experience in operations, account management, and customer service including budget management, KPIs, and transportation logistics. She is a devoted champion of San Francisco and is known for being a supportive leader who excels at team development and thrives in collaborative workplaces.

Last month, RocketRez shared details of its partnership with Chicago Line Cruises, a family-owned business that has been running river architecture cruises on the Chicago River for over 40 years.
