Disney Cruise Line has been busy this week announcing new experiences on the Disney Destiny, and now it has unveiled the ship’s Marvel-inspired spaces.
The Disney Destiny, a heroes and villains-themed ship, will house spaces and experiences based on Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Iron Man.
The ship’s grand hall will be a Black Panther-themed area, with a statue of T’Challa and a light fixture inspired by Vibranium.
Elsewhere, The Sanctum will be Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange, and for the first time in the cruise company’s history, a Marvel hero – this time Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots – will be the signature stern character.
The new ship also includes a penthouse suite honouring Tony Stark, as well as existing Disney cruise experiences such as the Worlds of Marvel dining experience and the Marvel Super Hero Academy for younger guests.
Earlier this week, Disney Cruise Line unveiled the ship’s new bars, themed to Cruella de Vil, the Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Prior to that, the company teased a new dining experience inspired by The Lion King, as well as a sweet shop called Edna Á La Mode Sweets.

“The Disney Destiny is all about celebrating the bold, charismatic, and driven characters at the heart of our favorite stories,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line.
She added, “And who are our beloved heroes without the antagonists who challenge them to prevail? We want our guests to have fun with the unique theme of this ship, and we are having a blast creating spaces and entertainment experiences that pay tribute to the villains, anti-heroes, and mischief makers who have captivated Disney film and theme park audiences for generations.”
The Disney Destiny will start sailing in December 2025.
